Many patients feel “rushed” for their cleaning. We allot time, your time, to spend with you and not another patient. This way, you can get to know us, and we can get to know you. We want to put the relationship back into doctoring.
Our staff is trained and skilled, and each member has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
We understand that many patients fear pain at the dentist. We utilize every proven technology available to make your visit as pain-free as possible. This includes the Accupal tissue pre-numbing device. This technology was invented by Dr. Z. after sensing that patients need more comfort and less ‘ouch.’ This product is FDA registered with a patent pending and is currently being used by dentists throughout the nation and around the world. More importantly though, our doctors and team will take the time to understand your anxieties and treat you with compassion to make sure you have as comfortable a visit as possible.
Assisting Team
Kristen, Shaun,Freda
Kristen is a 2008 graduate of Eastern College of Health Related Professions. She is a Registered Dental Assistant and enjoys assisting on oral surgery procedures. She has been involved in dance since she was 3 years old. Kristen and her fiance are expecting their second child in the fall.
Shaun is a 2005 graduate of Pulaski Technical College. He is a Registered Dental Assistant and enjoys working on partials and dentures. He has extensive training in prosthodontics. Shaun likes bike riding and roller skating.
Freda is a Certified Dental Assistant with the Dental Assisting National Board. Freda has been a dental assistant since 1984 and has been with Downtown Dental Care since 1993. She has been married for almost 22 years and has two children.
Hygiene Team
Amy and Malinda
Amy is a 2009 graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has a special interest in tobacco cessation. Amy and her husband of two years are expecting their first child in the spring. Amy has a precious Yorkie, Versace, that is her fur child .
Malinda is a 2004 graduate of the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about preventing oral cancer. She loves spending time with her three boys.
Administration Team
Bethany, Jim, Tammi, and Karen
Bethany has been with Downtown Dental Care since January 2010. She is a member of the Oasis Church in Maumelle. She enjoys lounging around the house watching movies. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Jim has been on the Downtown Dental Care team for over 6 years, he loves working with his team and takes pride in customer satisfaction. Jim was a former PGA Golf professional, and now he enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
Tammi has been on the Downtown Dental Care team for 2 years. She and her husband have been married for over 15 glorious years, and are blessed with 12 year old Parker, and 2 year old Gracie. She is an avid baseball fan
Karen has 10 years of insurance experience in the dental field. She and her high school sweetheart Tony are the proud parents of 3 year old Zoe. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid scrapbooker and loves to attend craft shows with her mother.
